N.K. Gutierrez returns to the musical stage as Joanne Jefferson in the hit musical, RENT, premiering at the historic Paramount Theatre, in Aurora. After four years of focusing on print, film and commercial work, her work has been showcased on HBO Latino as well as Oprah. Her most notable stage roles include her recent role in Tennessee Willams, "Suddenly Last Summer," in which she played Sister Felicity. N.K. has also had the honor of playing The Women who Loved to Make Vaginas Happy and The Coochie Snorcher that Could, in the infamous Vagina Monologues, an Ishmaelite in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and a Chorus member in A Chorus Line. N.K. attended Assumption Grade School, Chase Middle School, and Topeka High School, in her hometown of Topeka, KS. She graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a Baccalaureate of Arts in Psychology and Fashion.
