Winning a block party “rap” contest in 1991 was all it took for Smoke Brown (Dave Penn) to fall in love with music. Influenced by Rakim, Nas, Biggie, Snoop, and Common, Smoke began to write and surround himself with the movement that many call the best era in hip hop.

In 2002, Smoke made the move to Atlanta, GA to pursue a music career. After completing his first album, Strugglin’, he was unexpectedly forced to return home without ever releasing the underground classic. Back in home, Smoke, Bam, Lood, Red, and Eazi created The Evolutionary Souljahs. In 2007 the group of friends released their first album The Experience. A year later, Smoke released the timeless album Wakin’ Up.

When asked about his style, Smoke humbly remarks, “I’m a 28 year old suburbanite that loves music. Hip Hop is the tool I use to paint pictures. If you know me as a person, and have listened to my music, then you know the love is authentic." Finishing his 3 solo album, and also working on Evo Soul’s 2 album, the future definitely looks promising for the Country Club Hills emcee.

Biography of Anika T. McClure

I started at Chicago Sate University Fall of 2004 as a pre-med/psychology major. About

a year being in the pre-med program I decided I would change because it was

something I was no longer interested in doing with my life. I switched to

communications, media arts & theatre at Chicago State in Fall 2005. In 2005-2006, I

was a radio personality on WCSU Radio and a news anchor on WKKC. In 2006 I shot

and produced and directed my first few video projects and got into editing projects as

well.

I was very much involved in extracurricular activities at Chicago State University. I was

an executive board member for the NAACP chapter at CSU. I was a member of

ImageMakers, which was a Public Relations student-ran organization. I won 2008-2009

Chicago State University Homecoming Queen. I was on the Nation Dean’s List for my

academic achievements. And finally upon graduating from college, I was inducted into

the Chicago Teachers College/Chicago State University Alumni Association.

In August 2007, I went to Winston-Salem, NC, to the National Black Theatre Festival

where I worked down there. Lots and lots of experience and something that was great

for me to be down there and part of. Things started to skyrocket from there. September

2007, I went down to Jena, LA to shoot a documentary on The Jena 6. During the fall

2007 I worked on a show pilot called "Travelers with Disabilities Having Fun" and

winded up shooting a main pilot of the show with Royal Carribbean in January-February

2008. We traveled to Miami, FL; San Juan, Puerto Rico; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin

Islands; and St. Maarten/St. Martin and did live shoots during the 7-day cruise. I wrote a

few short films and completed my full feature film screenplay and worked on a few other

independent projects of my own.

Fall 2008, I started my own production company, Fusion Chilled Productions. April 2009

I started my entertainment company that is an entity of FCP, called Pink Fusion

Entertainment. I graduated May 2009 from Chicago State University with a Bachelor’s

degree of arts in Communications, Media Arts & Theatre and a minor in Radio &

Television Broadcasting.

I still continue to work on several projects such as PFE’s first project is a fashion show

coming in September 2009. And finally FCP & PFE is also in the process of starting a

not-for-profit organization called “The Million Dollar Girls Club” in winter 2009/spring

2010 to help under-privileged and inner-city young ladies.

”To inspire and influence is the greastest wealth one could ever obtain”-Terrell Dyson

Terrell Dyson was born on January 1, 1976 to parents Arlender & Tyler in Chicago, Illinois on the South Side. He is the younger of one brother (James) and three sisters (Miriam, Millicent and La Donna). As a youth he was raised in Chicago and attended Charles W. Earle and Walter Q. Gresham Elementary School. After completing the eighth grade, and wanting to have broader experiences and opportunities, Terrell convinced his mom to let him move to the south suburban area of University Park and live with his Aunt Gina and Uncle Johnny and cousins Lolita, Michelle, Gina, Candace and Crystal. He attended Crete-Monee High School in Crete, Illinois and graduated in June 1994.

In November 1996, after a two-year hiatus from school, Terrell enlisted in the United States Army for three years; serving his basic training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and, afterwards, stationed at his assigned post at Fort Polk, Louisiana. It was during this period that Terrell was highly influenced to become an entrepreneur. It was also during this time that Terrell became a father to two beautiful girls: Sierra in 1998 and Katelin in 1999. In his barracks room is where Terrell first had "Dynaukn" as just a name. After receiving an honorable discharge from military duty in 1999 Terrell returned back home to Chicago.

In 2002 Terrell became a proud father again; with the birth of his son, Miles. That same year he attended ITT Technical Institute in Matteson, Illinois and, in 2004, received his Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems. In January 2005 Terrell incorporated his own company, Dýnaukn Co.(www.dynauknco.com) and, in 2009, became the creator of a highly, inspirational blogsite, Powerful Unknown: The Dýnaukn Dialogues (www.dynaukn.wordpress.com). An avid vegetarian and disciple of Buddhism he constantly volunteers himself in community projects and donates to various charitable organizations, including Deborah's Place & Prevent Child Abuse America (both located in Chicago), to help those who are less fortunate. Terrell also speaks to and encourage others (especially the youth) to pursue their dreams, always be selfless by helping others, and to always truly believe in yourself.

Peace & Blessings,

Terrell Dyson
