An actor, manager, model, shoe connoisseur, and now fashion designer. Anthony Pickett is a 25 year old born and raised Chicagoan. Raised on the south side, he has picked up that can't stop attitude. And is one guy that refuses to fail. A jack of all trades, his hardest part of the day is trying to figure out which one of his ventures he should attend to for the day. At the ripe age of 23 he got into acting as a joke, but when you look at his resume he now has 7 movies under his belt. He manages rapper Smoke Brown who is also his cousin and who will be on a later episode of "Live from Sour Apple". Anthony is a laid back person who loves the outdoors and most importantly his friends and family. In his down time Anthony likes to collect shoes, with a collection close to about 80 pairs hard to imagine how does he have time to do anything else. But his heart rests with fashion, so be on the look out for his own line Urban Prep to be release in the spring of 2010 with his partner Darius Fluker. Who will also be on a future episode of "Live from Sour Apple". So check him out, get to know him, take a look at his blog WeTheNewFresh.blogspot.com. Because he will definitely be a face you will see alot of in 2010.

  1. Money and the cars...cars and the clothes and the hoes i suppose. But it takes hard work and what i would call OVER dedication to the task. Its not enough to just do something at this point you have to OVERDO it. Like you said you have to be on every site meeting new people attracting new fans everyday. constantly pushing...like EVERY episode mentions family values. EVERY single one and it has too and thats the example you have to keep pushing it and keep promoting it until it truly runs its course. great question and i need your contact info anthony lets work! pretty boy make it happen!

  3. I think the true meaning of success was lost somewhere during the boom of technology or even the industrial revolution. We use the phrase "hard work" as if it was non-existent before now. Its not that we have to work harder to be successful but more that we need to return to the days when success was granted through hard work. When we think back to the stories told to us from our history, we remember how people would work their "9-5" then come home and grow their own food, take care of their children, and most others even had an additional skill that they focused their dream around. We have become so pacified by technology they we forget what it takes to be successful. Hard work isn't something new that we have to get accustomed to, it is the ancient tool of success they we need to reacquaint ourselves with. Its time that we restore our focus and invest our attention in people rather than in products.
